Evanston Early Explorer’s 2026 Summer Camp

Who's that buzzing around our flowerbeds? What can we find growing next to the sandbox? What nature can be found just outside our front door? We'll find these answers and more with our Early Explorers Summer Camp!

Hours:

June 8th 2026-August 24st from campers that are 3-8 years old. 

8:00-3:00PM (extended day until 5:30pm-additional fee)

* We also offer Half and Full day- daycare for ages 6 weeks-2 years old and Preschool from 3-6 years old.

What will you do at summer camp?

Every day we will begin in nature, hiking, picking up sticks, rocks, and sea glass, planting and tending our garden, identifying plants and bugs, and mud play. We will have Friday beach days, Melody in Motion, with lots of water play.

Weekly activities offered:

Arts and Crafts- all ages

STEAM 

Little STEAM-2 -3 year olds, 4-6, 6-8 year olds

Gardening- all ages

Cooking Together 3-8

Costume making 3-4, 4-8

Puppet making- 4-8

Soccer Camp (6 weeks) 3-8 year olds

Pottery 

Little Actors: 4-8

Field Trips Include: 

Lincoln Park Zoo, Peggy Nobart, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Wagner Farm, Chicago Botanical Gardens, The Grove, Skokie Lagoons, and much more.

Rate:

$480 per week -Includes 2 snacks and lunch (prepared on site) per day and field trips.  

Drop in for a day price: $100 (reservations required ahead of time)
